Films: Shadow Creature (1995)
Alias: None
Type: Mutant
Location: Civilized Area
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: There have been some interesting catalysts for mutation across these films. But what if we told you that one of them was...hair growth formula?
History: Yes, a rather ill-tested hair growth formula was the reason for this new monster to rampage. Oh no, it's even weirder. Apparently the formula was eaten by some small fish, and the man who got bit by one mutated into a half-fish monstrosity bent on killing everything.
Notable Kills: Nothing special
Final Fate: The monster is eventually stabbed and electrocuted before it expires. However, the irradiated fish are still on sale, ensuring that this won't be the last time we see a Shadow Creature.
Powers/Abilities: None
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 3-We have to admit that this beast does sport an intimidating design...if you only look at the mask. Aside from that, the interesting shoulder blades are floppy, the roars are generic, and it's stuck in a film desperately trying to be a tongue in cheek b-movie.
Trivia: -This film purposefully premiered on Friday the 13th. Of October, that is.
-The creature was played by Scott Heim, who would go on to star in...nothing else. Dang.
